If I have met all of the requirements for the Master List Intergration (MLI) as a TPU, do I need to submit a promotion packet?

If I have met all of the requirements for the Master List Intergration (MLI) as a TPU, do I need to submit a promotion packet? I have been to my S-1 and have not gotten a definitive answer on the subject

Came across this post, though old i was wondering if i could ask a question. My board status says MLI but I don't have promotable in my PPW. Everything is up to date on it with the main ones being acft and weapon. how did it work for you? did you just have to wait to be promoted? did you just populate into the promotion list and pick up? TIA
