In my day you needed to get a letter of acceptance from a unit on jump status that had your MOS. As long as the losing unit had no objections that all it took. That’s all I had to do. Branch is ok because you are Bragg. gaining unit is happy, they get a fill that wants to go to Airborne school. Losing unit is happy because they got a fill. I have to imagine there is another 91B20 that is tired of the Airborne life that would take a non parachute assignment that is at Bragg.

If you are due in at an Airborne unit, you may get it TDY enroute on your orders. Sounds like you want to be a 3 time volunteer; The Army, Airborne School and for an Airborne Assignment - put it on paper so Branch knows you're serious.
