Navy ROTC programs yes, you would need the recommendation from your units Commanding Officer or OIC.Response by SCPO Private RallyPoint Member made Nov 7 at 2017 12:35 PM2017-11-07T12:35:54-05:002017-11-07T12:35:54-05:00SFC Private RallyPoint Member3071800<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I don't think so, you go for it and they just have you as rotc cadet.Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Nov 7 at 2017 1:07 PM2017-11-07T13:07:24-05:002017-11-07T13:07:24-05:00LTC Private RallyPoint Member3072227<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>No, you don't. You can sign up for the first two years just like regular classes, and then if you decide to contract for years 3 & 4 you will become a Simultaneous Membership Program Cadet (SMP) and be administratively promoted to E-5 (pay, but no stripes). Your National Guard Commander will be informed and may talk to your PMS about you, but you will not need the National Guard's permission.Response by LTC Private RallyPoint Member made Nov 7 at 2017 4:00 PM2017-11-07T16:00:26-05:002017-11-07T16:00:26-05:00SGT Private RallyPoint Member3093031<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>You do not.Response by SGT Private RallyPoint Member made Nov 15 at 2017 9:20 AM2017-11-15T09:20:10-05:002017-11-15T09:20:10-05:00CW2 Jonathan Hall3099104<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>It would make the move much easier if you do.. make sure you packet is lookung good tooResponse by CW2 Jonathan Hall made Nov 17 at 2017 10:30 AM2017-11-17T10:30:40-05:002017-11-17T10:30:40-05:002017-11-07T11:23:58-05:00
