My permanent profile consist of no running, rucking, heavy lifting, alternative apft events for ruining such as walk. At 30 years old should I expect to be medically discharged? If I'm put on a permanent profile at 30 years old due to osteoarthritis, should I expect to be medically discharged? 2018-06-24T08:25:59-04:00 PV2 Private RallyPoint Member 3737700 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Osteoarthritis/ and consistent swelling inside my bone (bone marrow edema). The general rule of thumb is that if your profile prevents you from deploying, you can expect a medical discharge. If you cannot wear body army or a helmet, you will be considered non-deployable.
