If I'm put on a permanent profile at 30 years old due to osteoarthritis, should I expect to be medically discharged?

Osteoarthritis/ and consistent swelling inside my bone (bone marrow edema). My permanent profile consist of no running, rucking, heavy lifting, alternative apft events for ruining such as walk. At 30 years old should I expect to be medically discharged?

Pretty much, yeah. The general rule of thumb is that if your profile prevents you from deploying, you can expect a medical discharge. If you cannot wear body army or a helmet, you will be considered non-deployable.

At the minimum it should result in a MEB, which can result in a medical end to your service.

Age is immaterial- if you are constricted from doing your job, then a MEDB is the likely result.

I was 30 when I got a permanent 3 profile and I stayed in for another six years.
It took some doing, but my CO liked my work and constant correspondence courses.
Mine said no running over 1/2 mile, no pt requiring jumping, no standing over 30 minutes.
