The reason being is because I’m pregnant and I’m currently out of work because the first trimester for me was basically hell! I ended up in the hospital a few times because the vomiting was so bad and the job I was working at, wasn’t being understanding of everything that I had going on. The BAH is higher in Georgia and it will cover rent, utilities, and my bills as well. Also, I will be able to enjoy the last couple of months of my pregnancy. I talked to the recruiters and told them what was going on and they said that I had to just get proof of a change of address and turn it in to someone and also give my husband the new address (he may have to change it on his end). My question is, will I get the BAH that is supposed to be given in Georgia even though my husband hasn’t found out his PDS yet. Also I have a lot more family in Georgia and my husband will be coming home a few days before the baby is due. I’m due September 16 and he will be home on the September 14. I will be staying in Georgia for a extra couple of weeks after the baby is born as well and I’m not sure if my husband will have the time to help with baby If I move to Georgia while my husband is in AIT, will I get BAH for Georgia even though my husband hasn’t found out his PDS yet? 2020-03-14T21:08:31-04:00 Leaza Shaheed 5662309 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I plan on moving to a new state while my husband is in AIT. If he’s in AIT he won’t be able to live with you. It sucks to say but if he takes to much time off he will fail his MOS and have to start with another class and take more time away from you. The best option I have told some of my student is to plan the birth during a weekend or holiday and take that time off so they don’t miss as much school time as possible so they don’t get classed back. Moving while he’s in training is a personal choice not a destination the military ordered you or him too.
