Or as a third option would they ship me anyway and keep me as a medical holdover until I’m healed? I’m in the National Guard so DEPing out is not an option when trying to change your ship date.If I ship out for basic in 2 days, and accidentally just broke my left wrist, will I still get shipped & be on holdover status for months?2018-07-29T01:48:33-04:00PVT Private RallyPoint Member3834470<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Would I get medically discharged or would they just change my ship date? Get ahold of your chain and let them know asap.. A broken wrist is no joke. You will also have to go back through the MEPS to make sure that that wrist is ok and a waiver is or is not required...so get healthy, do PT, running etc...no push-ups obviously and wait it out..report to your unit for orders..Response by 1SG Brian Adams made Jul 9 at 2020 1:22 PM2020-07-09T13:22:12-04:002020-07-09T13:22:12-04:002018-07-29T01:48:33-04:00
