Depends, if you're under 48 months active federal service then you will have the choice to reclass or stay your current MOS. If you stay your same MOS you can choose a duty station based on what is available.

about as much as you can pick which of the 4 flies buzzing around your head will land on your nose next.
You can ask, you can write it down on paper, you can even yell and scream ...but its still the army decision even for those that enlist or reenlist for a duty assignment ...Even when in a contract, the services have been known to have a needs change and tell the member, you can get out of the contract and not enlist/reenlist or you can "choose" something different, but what you cant have is what we said you could last week as it simply is no longer an available option.

They will proabably give you a few to choose from. Sort of choosing I suppose.

Switching to active duty isn't worth it. Try your luck with AGR to avoid all the unnecessary lies from the recruiters.

It seems like everybody has their synopsis of what to do. Talk to most e’vodyvyou can.. some have really good info. And some tell a “sad sack” tale.. take those with a good belt of something smooth after yiu’ve Transitioned.. just take the bad with the good.. life isn’t always perfect.. good fortunes in your transition!

I’d say it’s dependent upon how much in demand your career field(mos) is? Give it a shot. What you desire and what the Military requires maybe 2 diffeeent things... if by chance your desire and their requirement meet. And it’s mutual...

You can try.. but don’t hold your breath ! Research where your MOS is needed and see if it coincides with your need/want?
