If I’ve been out for a year and got a general discharge for pt failure can re enlisting be possible with out going through BCT again?

Have you checked with a local recruiter, he might have an answer for you, if it's not in the cards you may have to redo basic, just saying.

I believe for that chapter you only have to be put for 6 months and then can attempt to enlist again but my question is if you failed the APFT and got chaptered for it are you ready to do the ACFT. Another question we're you already done with your basic training and AIT and in your regular unit? I've been in for a while now and seen units give soldiers chances to pass their APFT.

I was out for 8months after being chaptered for PT test failures and re-enlisted (Made sure I was completely squared away with the APFT and ACFT) and I didn’t have to go to basic or AIT. Now they do give you the option to reclass and if you take that route then obviously you’ll have to go to AIT again.

Doubtful, particularly if it was OSUT. If separate BCT/AIT maybe, but doubtful. Ask your recruiter.

You would not have to attend BCT again so long as you completed training prior to being discharged and you meet the time criteria, which it appears you do if you were separated a year ago.

You will, however, have to meet all physical fitness/weight requirements at the Army (as opposed to Future Soldier) standard if you served for more than 180 days.

I would recommend contacting a recruiter in your area.
