On the other hand my husband just got selected for drill sgt school, although I’ll be going to a new brigade, will i still be able to follow my husband since it’s a two year commitment? And we are also MACP. We both have been in fort bliss for two years already. I just hope that me reclassing doesn’t restart my time If I've been selected for an intra-post transfer and my husband for DS school, will I be able to follow him since it’s a 2-year commitment? 2020-01-30T22:02:31-05:00 SGT Private RallyPoint Member 5502009 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Prior to me reclassing, i was a 31B. Spouse was DA select drill neither branch was tracking MACP nor was the drill branch it was a mess Response by SGT Private RallyPoint Member made Jan 30 at 2020 10:36 PM 2020-01-30T22:36:25-05:00 2020-01-30T22:36:25-05:00 SSG Private RallyPoint Member 5502131 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>If the DS side of the house is anything like recruiting they aren&#39;t tracking and once you&#39;re both on assignment it can be hard to reroute either one of you. I knew recruiters who were geo bachelor due to this same situation. Call branch now and start working this issue now. Bottom line is that you need to provide a copy of your husbands assignment instruction to your S1. The system will automatically alert based on MACP. You will have to wait 12 months to be considered for a move to where your husband is. <br />Talk with your branch and explain your situation. This will initiate conversation between the two branch managers. Good luck to you....
