Once you know that you can put in your leave in. If you report early, I recommend you contact your sponsor through ACT on ako and make sure they’re tracking. PCSing from OCONUS can be more challenging than CONUS.. so communication with your losing/gaining unit will be your most powerful tool.

Good luck WO1 Private RallyPoint Member Wed, 30 Dec 2020 14:26:49 -0500 2020-12-30T14:26:49-05:00 Response by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Dec 30 at 2020 6:13 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/if-my-report-date-to-my-next-duty-station-is-a-month-out-from-my-deros-am-i-supposed-to-take-a-month-of-leave?n=6618844&urlhash=6618844

The fact that you think you are getting 39 days of leave is funny. You get 10 days currently and it needs to be either at your home station or new station. You should probably read the MILPERS that cover this. Contact your gaining unit, starting with the contact that the gaining unit will provide to you.

If it were me, I would report early, if this is a realistic option. (Figuring out if it is a realistic option is why you contact your existing Chain of Command, starting with your supervisor, and contact your gaining unit.) My personal guess, everybody will be good and/or delighted with desire to report early.
