If the orders place you reporting there during your RASP class date, you can ask HRC for a deferral for a school date. Until then, the attrition rate is so high that all parties involved act like you're not going to Regiment until you've actually passed RASP. You can reenlist to stabilize for a while if you like. If you receive a RASP date then you will reenlist for that. If you have a RASP date your branch will not place you on assignment.

If you reenlist and sit around with the “intention” of attending RASP then you haven’t really tried to attend and your branch will view you as being available to PCS. I volunteered for RASP and they stuck me in ABN Hold until my orders got changed. They didnt move me and my order cods changed to UNRG, or something like it. Basically yeah I would think so because you are going through a Tier 1 training pipeline is my understanding. Same way with SFAS.
When i was in the 82nd and a paratrooper got fenced in for GRF (global response force) they wouldn't let you PCS but selection took precedence. Are you going through SFC Brash?

Good luck brother! Sua Sponte! Cadet 2LT Private RallyPoint Member Fri, 02 Oct 2020 00:51:26 -0400 2020-10-02T00:51:26-04:00 2020-09-30T13:34:25-04:00
