If Trump successfully goes after the rich for the profits they make in healthcare, will this place his life at risk (like Kennedy)?

The folks on both sides of the aisle..the republicans can do more,damage...why do you think they fought him tooth and nail before finally giving up just so they could wipe out the democrats.
MR Trump should have a secret service detail the size of a division.. ALL OF THEM SUBJECT TO EXTREME VETTING AND CONSTANT VIGILANCE.

PO3 John Wagner It was hard for me to follow your question, but after reading it several times it finally connected. John, first I try to stay away from any political stuff on RallyPoint because there was so much in 2016. With that said, let the opposition to Trump have their protests and rallys against him (that is the American way). I'm sure that all of it will eventually die down and people will find a new cause 6 months from now. I trust that our Government Secret Service will do an outstanding job protecting our 45th President. Let's hope that our country hasn't taken a step backwards or stooped that low. With regard to Healthcare - it needs to be fixed period. I believe the major Insurance companies would welcome open State borders for their products and more choices. There are a lot of major Healthcare Insurance companies that have opted out of Obamacare because of the close borders and loss of revenues. It complicated. I look forward to a new program because I can't afford healthcare anymore. Healthcare is just one reason of many why individuals aren't in favor of Trump. Just my two cents!

PO3 John Wagner - I hope you're correct that the costs will come down but I'm skeptical. The theory that costs will fall is essentially trickle down economics and the successes of that theory have been spotty since it was introduced by Reagan. I certainly don't think HC should be free, but the simple fact is that these costs were rising long before ACA came around. That fact is what led to the need for what became ACA. For way too many years before ACA I saw cost of employee HC plans rise to the point where lower wage earners in our company couldn't afford the coverage. Their choices were to either switch to plans with huge copayments or drop coverage completely. Most chose the latter. One of the down sides when ACA came around was the requirement that any employee who works more than 32 hours per week be considered full time and must be offered company sponsored HC. Rather than shoulder the expense of more full time employees, most companies chose to aggressively cut part timers to under 32 hours so these people not only lost money but were also forced into the federal pool. That was a double whammy for many workers that helped make ACA unpopular.

The cost reduction won't come through "Taxing the rich" it will come by creating a fair market and level playing field for insurance companies and pharmaceutical manufacturers..sure the investors will take a hit...tough shit I say. They have been raping the public for how many years?

MSgt Steve Sweeney - And therein lies Americas greatest healthcare issue. We have sickcare not WellCare. Countries with successful socialized...note I say SUCCESSFUL...nationalized healthcare require their citizens to have regular physicals. The costs associated with a disease or condition like diabetes, when left untreated, are enormous. Treating diabetes early on is negligible costwjse. Many many other conditions are similar but diabetes is one of the worst. PO3 Bob McCord

PO3 John Wagner - I think you need to be careful in comparing Trump to Kennedy - while simultaneously mentioning secret service - or you might find secret service knocking on your door. Warmest Regards, Sandy :)

Ma'am my concern is genuine and I believe imperative. If I,told you I'm a register republican and that I contributed almost $2000'to his, campaign would that allay your, concerns. My father in fact...I saw him on television..did actual guard duty for carter and Reagan... does that help?

And I don't mean as a city cop either. An armed treasury agent standing ten feet away with a gun. The treasury agent usually know all the local looneys by face. The secret service does not.

PO3 John Wagner - That helps. But, even so, please be careful of anything that could be misinterpreted. Warmest Regards, Sandy :)

Give it another chance. I hadn't had my frosted mini wheats yet when writing the original question
