Sgt Private RallyPoint Member 4389392 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>After finding out I was twice passed over for promotion I was told my EAS would be changed to September of this year. It has been a few weeks since I was told this and it has not yet changed. I am waiting for my new EAS to show up so I can begin working on a conditional release form to serve with another branch. If twice passed over for promotion (USMC), how long until my new EAS reflects? 2019-02-21T21:09:08-05:00 Sgt Private RallyPoint Member 4389392 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>After finding out I was twice passed over for promotion I was told my EAS would be changed to September of this year. It would appear some soul searching is in order regarding performance. Best of luck. (as in passed over for promotion in the below zone, in the promotion zone, and in the above zone?) Receiving 3 total looks for promotion? I&#39;m assuming you are on your third enlistment (career status) and past the 8 year mark, which would make this current enlistment go to the 12-13 year.<br /><br /><a target="_blank" href="https://www.marines.mil/Portals/59/Publications/MCO%20P1400.32D%20W%20CH%201-2.pdf">https://www.marines.mil/Portals/59/Publications/MCO%20P1400.32D%20W%20CH%201-2.pdf</a><br /><br />Here&#39;s the USMC promotion and seps manual. I was not able to find anything regarding adjusting an EAS. This is assuming you didn&#39;t extend to meet board requirements. <div class="pta-link-card answers-template-image type-default"> <div class="pta-link-card-picture"> </div> <div class="pta-link-card-content"> <p class="pta-link-card-title"> <a target="blank" href="https://www.marines.mil/Portals/59/Publications/MCO%20P1400.32D%20W%20CH%201-2.pdf">404 - File or directory not found.</a> </p> <p class="pta-link-card-description"></p> </div> <div class="clearfix"></div> </div> Response by Sgt Aaron Kennedy, MS made Feb 22 at 2019 3:12 PM 2019-02-22T15:12:37-05:00 2019-02-22T15:12:37-05:00 Sgt Chuck Stewart 4426184 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>First, why were you passed over. 2nd you could always change your MOS. 3rd you could try to become a Warrant Officer. That is if you are a dedicated Marine. This is advice I wish someone would have given me when I got out. The Corps was downsizing and I got caught up in it. I wanted to retire a Master Gunnery Sgt and I regret everyday that I&#39;ve been out of the Corps Response by Sgt Chuck Stewart made Apr 29 at 2019 7:27 PM 2019-04-29T19:27:37-04:00 2019-04-29T19:27:37-04:00 Sgt Bill Newman 5158901 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Yup self check Marine, review your pros &amp; cons. Something could be hiding or check with a Career Jammer may be able to locate the mos rank freeze quicker than anyone in the company...
