This is a copy of a recent exchange that I thought I would share with the rest of you.

Something that may pay off big for you or your son especially if he is or you are in to the Web Design is the Security end of computing. I know the term carries some baggage you may want to go to a (white hat) "Hackers Conference". It used to be that the Government wanted to arrest anyone calling themselves "hackers" Now they are starting to realize that there are "good-guy" hackers that can help them and private companies to maintain secure sites and communication on the web. I'd have your sone or even yourself log in to YouTube and Look for the series of Video Presentations from last Years DEF CON. I believe that was number 22. By just watching a few of the available Videos I think anyone in the industry can see that not only could it be fun to work in the security end of this business but it can pay very well!
