If you are getting promoted on deployment without BLC will you still be on the by name promotion list?

If you have been approved to be promoted on deployment without BLC because you are currently on deployment will your name still show up on the by name promotion list for the month? Or is that list for people back in Garrison that have already went to BLC and for me will E5 just show up on my ERB one day while I'm here on deployment? I have more than enough points.

Your unit would have to fill out an exception to policy (ETP) but this shouldn’t be an issue. There is a BLC on BAF. Because you’re on the list you should have priority in getting into the class

My guy was not on the list, however, he had an email from HRC saying he made points. Orders came about 6 weeks later.

If you have issues with getting your E5 for whatever reason without BLC, some commands will laterally promote you to CPL to get you NCOERs and frontloaded to BLC. If you are deployed this should not be an issue but if you have folks in the rear with this issue something to consider.
