if you are MLI how long will i have to wait to get promoted after completing BLC?

Once you've completed BLC and it's updated in emilpo on your SRB - not when your 1059 is uploaded like they will tell you in the course - you are considered NCOES complete for the next rank. If that date is before the data is pulled for the month (you usually need to make sure everything is updated by the 8th), then you will be promoted the following month if you made points.

If your active duty it’s different but guard or reserve usually you are selected prior to going if so then you get ranked the date of completion on your 1059. However, you will have to wait for the order to be published. But it will be effective the date of graduation of BLC which I assume active it’s as well but only if your selected prior to BLC.

Getting promoted was not something I overly concerned myself with. Satisfactorily complete your training, top block your evaluations, pass the PT test, meet time in grade, and look sharp are simple rules to follow to be considered for promotion. .
