Banking and investment too. I feel great pity for civilians who have to use BofA, Wells Fargo, Chase, etc. I must use them for business banking (USAA doesn't support this) and those are all terrible experiences. USAA lives by their motto, "We know what it means to serve". Let me tell you a story... The IRS or US Postal lost a check. When I called the IRS to find why they hadn't deposited it, they advised me to stop payment and send another. I called USAA. On their own suggestion, they stopped payment on my personal check, cut a bank check and sent it FedX to the IRS - ALL AT NO CHARGE. Let's say that. Navy Federal is so anti-military (in my opinion) it's sickening. They offered me a loan at 12% for a NEW $25,000 car. The dealer couldn't even believe it. Ended up getting a 4% loan through First Hawaiian Bank. My Navy Federal Credit Card started off at 19.9% APR (when every other card I have are either 0%, 4%, or 6%. Navy Federal never seems to be available to reach and has fees for everything! Also, found out after 4 years that they were charging me some form of protection "in the case I die my debts will be waived" at the rate of $34 a month.. $1600 essentially.

I know that isn't what you were asking, but USAA has always been transparent, offered me acceptable APRs, has a very user friendly website allowing you to view ALL your accounts - even from other institutions, and offers great auto, personal, rents, and jewelry insurance.
