I would ask if he would ensure that incompetence and corruption within the VA be addressed by actually punishing those involved. Criminal charges in some cases and firing without a pension for others. Really sick of VA officials simply being shifted around instead of shit-canned. Would also like to know if they would be more vigorous in exposing and punishing those who file fraudulent claims.

Nothing, because similar to Obama in '08 I don't think he knows enough about how the DoD functions except to give a vague, superficial pat on the back; maybe give him a year or so.

You're right. The only difference is that I really like the military advisors that are on Trump's team.

PO1 Don Gulizia - Those are the guys I'd ask. The president elect has no policy nor military experience and therefore has no insight. You'd probably have a more productive discussion at the bar of the local VFW.

I would say that one of the things he could tell the Head of the VA is that if he sees a credible story about neglect in a VA facility he should ask " Ok, who and how many were terminated and are any charges pending and do you have a good person to go in there and unscrew them?"

Can we go back to a respectable Basic Combat Training curriculum, one that instilles pride, respect, and a backbone?
