He got off light, I would prefer not to talk to him. What eats at me are the men that was relieved of duty and or send to prision for what they did in the field of battle. Most have no time to set and think about actions they take. They have act automaticly. And get judged on that instant moment of time. I never had to do anything like that but it got to be tough.

I don’t think I would even waste my time to even bother to ask him anything. I was one of those that at first saying bring him home until I heard what he had done and how many lives that were taken and put in jeopardy looking for him.

Then Obama trades 5 top tier level Taliban leaders for him, it made me sick to my stomach. I would not even stop to help him if he was lite on fire and there was a bucket of water and a fire extinguisher nearby.

He’s a traitor to this nation, to his brothers that he walked away from while in combat zone, and he’s a disgrace to the uniform.

I cannot summon up any pity for this fool. Death by firing squad would have been the best solution for this a-hole. Either that, we can only hope that he returns to his Taliban brothers and be free over there.

Nothing. He has been tried and sentenced for his crime. You can agree with it or not. Doesn't matter. We have a process in place, he went through it and got what he got. This issue is closed (with me). If I ever saw him sitting at a bar I'd like to think that I could be part of the minority that's not out to kill him. I'm not defending him or his actions but it's not my job to be his judge, jury, or executioner. He's a human being and the only thing I know about him is one really bad choice that he made. Does that sum him up as a person? Maybe, maybe not. I don't know him so I can't say. But I don't want anyone constantly reminding me of my bad decisions so I wouldn't do that to him.

Not much I can say, or would want to say to him he has had a trial and been sentenced for his crimes. he knows that he is a coward that coast the lives of good men,and for a majority of the American population he will be a pariah. he has to live with that and I don't want to get into his head about what he thinks or feels.
