More pictures would have been great. I was pre-cell phone era, so I have maybe a dozen photos of when I was in, and 2 Float books, but that's it.

Interesting you wrote about pics. The first thing I did when I entered Europe was buy a canon AE1, expensive back then, especially for a PVT1 *worth every penny.
However, the best decision I ever made, and I owe this to my mother, who suggested it, was taking the time to write names on the back of most of the pics I took. Absolutely GOLD 30ys later when social media came along. I remembered faces, events, and of course some names, but if I hadn't written them on the back, I wouldn't have remembered all of them.
*That Canon AE1 is still functioning. My youngest daughter (now a university soph) used it in one of her high school courses :)
