If you go from national guard to active duty can you still get the option 40 contract to go to RASP for a possible spot in the regiment? 2021-02-23T22:51:12-05:00 Zhiwei Yang 6771573

If there is another way of being active duty and have the chance of going to RASP and trying out for hopefully getting on the team, please let me know.
Just some info about me : I'm new to this website, I'm 17 years old and does have plans to go to college but enlist after college instead of being an officer I'm not hating on officers but it's just not my cup of tea, but if being an officer is better for me if I get in the regiment then I don't mind working hard to be one. You do not need an Option 40 contract. I got out and came back in and I was not allowed to get an airborne contract for example, but they would slot me in a papa mtoe position.
