I always missed the fun and the belonging to something that really matters. I was in NYC on 9/11 and saw first hand the death of 3000 people. I also traveled to DC the next week and saw the hole in the Pentagon from my hotel room for 5 straight days. I was engaged at the time and that kept me away, and I've been blessed with two lovely daughters as a result of my decision. It always nagged me, though. After an illness in the family I started thinking about insurance in retirement and if I completed at least another 12 years I would have that. I was active from 88-92 and NG from 92-96. So back in again I went and it has been a great decision.Response by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Jul 12 at 2015 1:29 AM2015-07-12T01:29:11-04:002015-07-12T01:29:11-04:00CW4 Private RallyPoint Member808722<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I never had a break, but I thought about ETS'ng theee different times before I hit 10 years.
