Better-focused programs exist in order to better prepare students for the details of their chosen fields. For example, those going into healthcare should consider a master's in healthcare administration. Those going into construction should consider a master's in construction management--like the distance learning program at Purdue, essentially an MBA for construction industry professionals: https://tech.purdue.edu/degrees/ms-building-construction-management-online.
