Within the Bill of Rights we have this little gem: "The First Amendment (Amendment I) to the United States Constitution prohibits the making of any law ... prohibiting the petitioning for a governmental redress of grievances."

If a petition were to be sent to the White House (https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/) would you sign it? How would you word it?

Well, with the FBI and the WH stating that since she wasn't sworn in under oath and didn't intend to commit any wrong doing, I don't think a petition to the WH has a snowball chance in Hell.

Too true. I suspect it will be up to the people to set it right. However, too many want to talk the talk but very few will walk the walk.

That does seem to be the case the FBI refuses to recommend charges because they claim intent is required if she had not nobody else can recommend charges on the perjury because they never put her under out so she lied but it wasn't illegal to lie due to the way she was interviewed

The interesting part to me is I can't lie to a local County cop sheriff state trooper or crossing guard during the course of an investigation without being susceptible to charges she can lie to the federal Bureau of investigation during the course of an active investigation and because she wasn't put under oath no charges are being referred

SGM Erik Marquez - she might as well be using the excuse it doesn't count you can't charge me I had my fingers crossed the sad part is the administration is excepting that as a valid reason

It is. There are House Sub-Committees and at least a half dozen Washington watchdog organizations who are far from letting this matter go away.

Have you read the official responses from the petitions on that site?

It also got to the point that they needed to raise the number of signatures required to respond.
I stopped going there when I realized that it was essentially a joke and that the majority of petitions were things not relevant or appropriate for the Executive Branch to action or comment on.
