In fact, your observations seem to be prejudgments of what you expected to see and hear, and then found something more interesting to do. Meanwhile there was a tidal shift in the narrative. The candidates finally struck back at their true opposition, the media, and they did it effectively. The consensus among those who actually watched was cheering and applause. It seems that the only ones We the People despise more than politicians are the media. Cruz, Trump, and Rubio scored high marks for delivering the most effective attacks on the moderators whose only discernible goal is to trip up the GOP candidates to gain votes for the Democrats. My question to them would be "what were you expecting"? The first debate was as stupid as this one was. Was it ok being that Fox was hosting it? And Megan got ate up by Trump? The "candidates" then too went after each other or did we forget Christie and Paul already? Or is it the RNC wanted more time for Trump to waste a lot of air saying nothing about nothing so they could slam him more? Did they want more time for Carson to talk about Jesus and how he believes in Jesus for another five minute stretch? And Cruz stating that Dems have mainstream media helping them? Did he forget all the right wing sites AND Faux "news". The people wanted "change" with the incoming elections...well they're gonna get it. They wanted to be entertained. HOW are you NOT entertained? This is bar none the funniest election cycle ever.
