Reverse the drawdown. Make sure that the US Military had everything needed to fight and win anywhere in the world.
Then, I would reverse the Affordable Care Act and begin to dismantle the Socialism that is creeping in the past decade.

Cut any monetary aid to unfriendly nations, set up housing for homeless vets, balance the budget,increase military spending, do away with the DEA, TSA, ATF, and make them part of ICE or the border patrol. Close our borders, re establish list ties with countries we have neglected. And make healthcare truly affordable.

Severe punishment for every executive who has made a profit from outsourcing American jobs. Reinstate every single pink slipped soldier (or simply give them whatever money they would have made in the remainder of their service). Decriminalize ALL illegal drugs. Dismantle every private prison that has collected fines from states that didn't meet the agreed upon minimum occupancy rate. Legislation providing for forced sterilization of dead beat dads.

Sgt Joe LaBranche I would resolve to be a man of faith in God and ensure I spent time with Him in prayer and reading His word each day.
I would honor my wife as First lady of the land.
I would gather the best group of advisers I could muster to serve on my staff - not yes men but solid thinkers and people who can both think on their feet and act quickly and purposefully without passing the buck.
I would institute a review of all previous POTUS Executive Orders and get recommendations from trusted advisers on which ones to keep and which to rescind.

Term limits for the House and Senate. Career politicians need to be stopped. #2 would be that all members of the House and Senate will be provided no other option for Health benefits than those that are offered to Military and veterans. Watch how quickly that gets cleaned up! # 3 All House and Senate members PAST AND PRESENT will receive the same pension/retirement plan as the Armed Services. Those 3 items will highlight a multitude of problems with regards to both the dwindling benefits of our armed services and with the ridiculous luxuries the american tax dollars are paying for. Term limits will make lobbying exponentially more expensive thus limiting its power. forcing them to abide by uniformed services standards of welfare and living will also lower costs AND improve care for military families. I could go on but those 3 things would change this country immensely and would cost $0 from the tax payers.

Attention congress: in accordance with my oath to support and defend the constitution, it is incumbent on me to support the constitution whenever it comes into conflict with other laws. All laws infringing on the right of the people to keep and bear arms including and since the NFA of 1934 are inherently unconstitutional. Repeal them all. Until you do I will be assigning a legal team to prepare pardons for all persons convicted held and punished for non-violent violations of any of these laws, and I will be signing their pardons as rapidly as their cases can be adequately prepared.

Druggies are like zombies. They get infected by drugs and are hooked. They are everywhere. Rich
and poor allike are getting hooked and/or dying on fentanyl or heroin and cocaine.

Let us work with the host governments and along side them send our brigades into the jungle and double our SF forces and send our infantry and use USAF A-10s to destroy and eradicate the drug cartels base camps in Mexico (if they let us) and all of Central and South America. Let us have the DEA use more aircraft and intercept the subs that bring in tons of coke. The drugs have affected my 2 step daughters and millions like them. We need to confront and/or destroy the FARC and others that sell drugs and buy arms that destabilize countries and affect our families and ones getting hooked here at home. This will also hurt the gangs that kill so many innocent people in the inner city.

I would fire as many people as humanly possible in the Legislative Branch and replace them with citizens who have the skill sets for the jobs that are currently unemployed. So killing 2 birds with one stone, decreasing unemployment, and putting people in power who actually care about the country and aren't trying to make government their career. I think there should be a cap on how many times a person can be elected to office. Just my opinion. I would have my new Fed do out a new budget to decrease pork spending and decrease our national debt, and reverse any of the bills put fourth before the HOR that I and the American people don't agree with and clean up the outdated ones.

There are so-many things that I would change if I were elected President. I think the 1st thing I would do would be to give all Disabled Veterans a significant raise on their disability checks. All politicians would receive a mandatory pay cut and would never have the ability to "vote" themselves another raise again. No politician should ever make more than the average American Citizen makes. I would also put mandatory term limits on ALL elected & appointed offices to include the Supreme Court Justices.

Sgt Joe LaBranche First thing I would do is make efforts to freeze government spending. The only money to go out is to pay salaries. Not presidential and congressional salaries, but the salaries for the low level employees. Next work to balance the budget. Sorry Air Force, F-35 and B-21 are out. Cut out all unnecessary programs. Try to salvage the future for our children. This would hurt everyone in the wallet, I know. It would piss off those living on the government teat to no end. Next is fixing Social Security. It was paid into as a retirement plan, not put out there for the government to turn into a legal ponzi scheme. So get that back to solvent.
If by this time I have not been shot, stabbed, burned in effigy, or impeached, then we work on Veterans Affairs and getting that mess fixed. Once we have our domestic house in order, then we can look at where we need to, and where we can afford to send foreign aid. So basically I would not be popular because I would have congress folks on both sides of the aisle, and the lobbyists that make them rich outraged to the point that they would not want to do anything that helps me achieve my goals.

If I were President, the first thing I would do... is call a closed-door meeting with both Houses and read them the riot act.... and then, I would ask them to sign a simple pledge to "Put America First"
I would end with... "When I address the American People for the first time I will tell them that every House member and every Senator on this list, has pledged that they will put American "First" above all and... for the American people to keep close tabs on their elected officials and if they are back to their same old tricks, IE, stonewalling, obstructing and kowtowing to "special interest" groups, to hold them "fully" accountable the next time they are up for re-election".

Speaking of "special interests groups and lobbyists", I would outlaw them all from conducting business on any Federal ground and I would remind both sides of the table, that if they break the law during the course of conducting business and if convicted of a federal crime, they will receive the maximum sentence prescribed by the law with "plea-bargaining" off the table.

Wishful thinking of course.... but wouldn't it be great?

The first thing I would do is thank the American voter/taxpayer, assure them they are safe and secure on my watch, repeal NAFTA, bring manufacturing jobs back to America, repeal any recent Executive Orders. Yes, my first day would be busy but productive.
