If you were President, what would YOU do to make America a better place?

Politicians make promises and a majority of the time fail to keep them. What do you think is wrong with America and what would you do if you were in a position of power to make America a better place to live and more like the vision of America we have in our dreams?

I would sit down with Congressional leaders from both parties and really, honestly talk about and work on compromises to move the country forward. I would ask that we all put politics aside - for the good of the country. That's where I'd start.

Fight to get the following implemented:
-Term limits in Congress
-Can not run for office of President unless having served in the Military (honorably)
-Be the leader of both parties while in office
-Remind Congress daily that we work for the Amerian People not lobbyists
-Remind the nation we are a nation of laws; law enforcement officer put their lifes on the line to enforce those laws; do not break the laws and when dealing with law enforcement officers, it's their duty to obey them. if you do, you will get your day in court and if you choose to resist, you may end up in the morgue.
-Listen to my Military leaders on Military Matters; not civilian appointees who do not have a clue.
-Stand by our Allies THAT SUPPORT US; AND no longer provide money/support to those who we know hate us / use us.
-Give the United Nations 30 days to vacat the premises and leave the USA; Turn the UN Building over to the D.A.V / V.F.W./ Am. Legion / to support homeless Veterans, provide temporary living for them while assisting them seek medical attention thru the VA and get them back on their feet. The money currently spent to provide infrastructure support to the UN would be continued to be provided to this Veteran Service Organization.
-Shut down the Dept of Education and return the educating of our Children to the States.
-Shut down the Environmental Protective Agency and their abitrary establishment of policies and rules.
-Require any federal agency other than law enforcement agencies to shut down any and all tactical response or military pattern organizations they have created from within. NO more EPA, Dept of Natural Resources, EPA Swat Teams.
-Close the Border between the USA and Mexico within 1 yr of taking office. Anyone caught illegally crossing the border will be immediately returned to where they came from.
-No enact any law in which the Congress or any Federal official is exempt from.
-Fight to get Social Security changed from a Federally taxed revenue to a mandated individual tax/savings program; in order to keep the Congress from using it for purposes other than what it is intended for.
-Urge State governments to implement the following: Any Senator or representative who votes for or against any bill that is not in line with the majority of the voters from their state, can be immediately recalled; dismissed and replaced by the Govenor.

Thats a pretty busy 1st week in office,

-Get rid of the Federal Reserve, IRS, - return money matter of the government back to the Dept of Treasury.
-Remind Congress we are the SERVANTS OF THE PEOPLE.
-Any perks, gifts, or monetary gain will be deducted from a Congressman's salary.
-All Congressmen will pay into and revert to the Social Security System for all retirement issues.
-Work down through the Attorney General and State Attorney Generals to improve and close the trouble spots in our police force without binding them.
- Promote borders, make english the official language and support the border patrols with what ever help they need.
-Get rid of the Department of Education and return Education back to the States as they handled it so much better before Federal intervention.
-Work to get term limits in Congress, no more homesteading.
