You would need a medical waiver to refer you out at MEPs to an orthopedic surgeon stating you are fully capable of active duty with said procedure. I would contact an AMEDD recruiting station and a recruiter for health professions would be able to give you further guidance from there. You’ll need to talk to an AMEDD recruiter, they work at the Medical Recruiting Brigades.
https://recruiting.army.mil/mrb/

Another choice would be the United States Public Health Service Commissioned Corps. They are a branch of the uniform services as well.

 Medical Recruiting Brigade

The official website for the Army Recruiting Command (USAREC)

Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Aug 23 at 2020 4:00 PM 2020-08-23T16:00:53-04:00 2020-08-23T16:00:53-04:00 2020-08-23T13:59:56-04:00
