Make sure you can do pull/chin ups. Its pretty easy, just listen to instructions and dont wuss out of the towers/jumps

I just graduated from Airborne school 3 weeks ago. Be in good shape and listen attentively to the blackhats, everything they teach you is what will save your life!
If you decide you want to get kicked out of Airborne school and given a no return; sleeping during classes is the easiest way to do it.
On jump week (Week 3) once you exit the aircraft at 1,250ft and do all the good stuff on your way down and you are fully grounded after conducting your nice PLF lol, pack your chutes in its bag and RUN to the designated checking-in Sergeant Airborne.

A buddy of mine was kicked out of Airborne school after our 3rd jump for walking back instead of double-timing, some of those cadre/blackhats will jump with y’all and this was how he got caught.
Trust me you will be tired at some point but whatever you may feel just do whatever you can but do NOT walk, 1-507 PIR Sergeant Major does not like it! Apart from that, enjoy it, don’t hesitate to jump, keep your knees and feet together (Very Important) and understand your PLFs. If you are unsure of anything, ask the blackhats; they will be happy to square you away.

I was in the same boat, and went through back in 2011. Be in shape, listen to what they tell you, and understand you volunteered for a gazardous duty position. The 5 jumps at Benning will be over before you know it. You will be scared. It's logical. However pay attention to your instructions and you'll do fine

It's all in the mind, keep it positive, stay away from the bad influences, the black hats are always giving you the right info, look for someone to your front that is doing everything right, and put it in your mind to follow and get it done.
When you graduate, then you know that you did everything possible to get yourself threw what was, and is expected from you.
Now, getting to an Airborne unit Cherry, it's a new ball game, but you will survive as you did in Jump school. All the Way!

As a Master Parachutist and Jump Master with 17 years of Military Jump Status I offer this advice in all sincerity:
1) Listen to your Black Hat, and do everything the Black Hat says to do.
2) Do EVERYTHING EXACTLY like you Black Hats say to do it, Listen to the Black Hat.
3) This is not a video game and if you have not exited a High Performance Air Force Aircraft, ignore what a civilian Skydiver may have told you. Listen to your Black Hat.
4) The smartest human you will ever meet is your Black Hat. Don't forget that.
5) If he has wings on his things or a star or a STAR and WREATH on his wings, he knows more than you do. His job is to teach you the right way to do it. Listen to your Black Hat.
6) Shave EVERY MORNING and DO NOT ASK for a Break. Do not ask to go to the Break Area, and do what your Black Hat says to do.

All kidding aside, the Black Hat is the Book, walking talking and breathing. The training that a Jumpmaster has to go through is intense and was the hardest, most rewarding most AWESOME training I ever went through. Listen and do what they tell you to do.

Being a PARATROOPER is more than wearing Jump Wings, finishing Jump School and so on. It is a way of Life. Being a PARATROOPER is something that as long as you live you will NEVER say I WAS a Paratrooper, you will always BE a Paratrooper. There are other jobs and MOS specific things, But there are Two classifications of people in the US Army.....Paratroopers and those that deep down wish they were paratroopers.

BY the Way.....You are embarking upon the transition from LEG to Paratrooper. Remember LEGS do things the LEG way, which is to say, "Well, that's good enough" but Paratroopers do it the AIRBORNE WAY which is to say "Well, it is done right" LEGS are those that have not yet chosen to become the Super Dooper Paratrooper that is in each and every American Soldier, if they will just calm the inner fear and go anywhere in the world, wheels up in 18 hours, Step out of a high performance aircraft while in flight, and totally kick the ass of anyone that the National Command Authority has determined needs to have their ass kicked.
OH YES, you get to EARN your Beret, Never have to wear Leg Shoes again, and wear Jump Boots with your dress uniform, thus NEVER looking like a bus driver, airplane driver or Security Guard ever again.
