Fake eyelashes are not a permanent treatment, I would akin them to acrylic nails that are in regulation. Fake lashes can be put on and off at home. Eyelash extensions are a semi-permanent treatment you have to get done professionally. Granted I don&#39;t do either because they&#39;re a pain and expensive but there is a difference. Doesn&#39;t mean you can&#39;t wear them, just nothing faddish or extremely attention getting. They should be conservative and complement the wearer, not detract from her appearance.
