Im curious because ive been seeing it a lot lately with females in uniform, are fake eyelashes authorized while in uniform?

Eyelash extensions are not authorized unless medically prescribed. Per AR 670-1 in section 3-1, mentioned on page 6 at the bottom

No. They are not authorized. The same as piercings etc.

Not to be persnickety about the wording (but it's where loopholes are found) fake eyelashes and extensions are two different things. Fake eyelashes are not a permanent treatment, I would akin them to acrylic nails that are in regulation. Fake lashes can be put on and off at home. Eyelash extensions are a semi-permanent treatment you have to get done professionally. Granted I don't do either because they're a pain and expensive but there is a difference.

Probably if your a military nurse! In the USAF Nurse Corps, nurses got away with a lot and it’s even more during wartime! And yes I was a USAF Nurse so I’ve seen a lot!!

In the Navy long, false eyelashes are not allowed in uniform. Doesn't mean you can't wear them, just nothing faddish or extremely attention getting. They should be conservative and complement the wearer, not detract from her appearance.

Not sure..but if it's for ceremony..who doesn't want to look there best..but if travel and work don't recommend..what ifs.. always ready for action would not include an occlusion of fake eyelashes !!
