In 2009 President Obama signed a declaration making June LGBT month. Do you find it odd that this coincides with Ramadan in 2016?

Everything about Obama is odd. That said, I don't see anything sinister or even odd about the timing of it.

If anything, I'm glad he chose June. I'd have been pissed as hell if it happened during the NFL season.

LTC Private RallyPoint Member The Islamic Calendar is a Lunar Calendar. Ramadan is the ninth month of their Lunar Calendar. So the month of Ramadan is constantly in motion on the Gregorian Calendar and on the Julian Calendar. It is not odd that it coincides with Ramadan this year. It is simply a matter of the ninth lunar month on the Islamic Calendar happens to line up with the sixth month of the Gregorian Calendar this year. On the other hand, it could have something to do with the mindset of the Orlando Terrorist, if indeed he was a practicing Muslim, and indeed he committed this heinous act as a tribute to ISIS.
