I am going through a chapter right now, id like to keep the story private to whomever can help me but i have some questions i need addressed so i know what moves to make.

Ok If your Local JAG is unhelpful you still can contact another JAG office. I will tell you that you generally need to provided them with documents as they prefer to deal in facts.
JAG is the starting point to any issue...

SPC Private RallyPoint Member, if the local TDS/JAG Office cannot help without your 'packet' (as you stated), how can you expect someone else to assist without ALL the information (not just one side of the story)?

My uncle is a civilian lawyer down in Florida. I talk to him from time to time. If this is an issue better inclined to be handled on civilian side, you can email me and I'll see what I can do. Until then, wishing you all the best in getting the right advice

Here's the deal. A pending chapter in and of itself means nothing. Its like saying you are pending charges, but nothing is official yet. Until the chapter packet is complete and submitted for initial review, its unofficial and cannot be dealt with legally.

I know you want to get ahead of the game, but I've done a bunch of these chapters over the last year or so and I know personally, there is nothing to fight until the packet is complete and you get your first reading. Until then, it doesn't exist.
