In general, who would you rather see in the White House?

Does our next president need the executive skills of a governor, the legislative skills of a member of Congress or the outside of the box thinking of another public figure? I doubt one candidate possesses all three, so which is most important to you?

I want to see someone who cares about the exceptionalism of America. Someone who can stem the flow of illegals and secure our borders. Someone who CARES about veterans and won't accept the crap that is the VA. Someone who can get the budget and deficit under control so we have something to leave our kids and grandkids.

Tough question, I personally am still undecided, I do like a certain Governor and senator, but I think a guy outside the box deserves watching and listening to. Maybe another month I can decide better.

I find myself in a similar situation. There is one governor I really like (Go Pack, go!) but as far as any of the senators, I've got nothing. After the last 8 years I find it difficult to support another legislator sitting in the Oval Office. As far as the other category, I don't know how effective they would be as an outsider working with a highly partisan Congress.
