I have been in reserves for 2 years. I was supposed to enter as an E-3 due to my college education. However 2 years later I’m an E-4 paid as an E-2 with my DOR all messed up and NCOs who do not know how to fix my issue while I’m deployed. My NCO recently told me in order to get my DOR backdated to the day I swore in (2/29/16) that my DD Form 4 needs to say I was in the Delayed Entry Program. My DD Form 4 doesn’t state that I was but my DD Form 3286 does state that I was a participant in DEP/ Future Soldiers Program. since it is not on my DD Form 4 is it not valid or is the DD Form 3286 just as valid as the initial contract. Also this pay issue was brought up as soon as I got to my unit but no one helped me.. I also brought it up prior to deployment and my NCOs fixed every pelaybissue with every soldier except me. It took an EO complaint for them to finally step in a few weeks ago. I have been to Finance, found out which forms to fill out, turned them in but since my DOR and out of whack..... there is nothing the can do. It’s up to my S-1 in the states to act but no one is doing so.

This is a pay/admin problem. If you are an E4 your base pay should be that of an E4, with your DOR being the date you were promoted to that grade.
