I expect a more robust readiness state. No more robbing from Peter to pay Paul. I hope we get more manpower to fill the gaps. We don&#39;t need to be at the levels we were during the Reagan era but we sure could use the help and get out of the asking for permission to buy paper mode.<br />2.) I would expect a pay raise for our men and women in uniform. It is long overdue. it pains me greatly to see and hear about our service families being on welfare and subsistence. Just ain&#39;t right.<br />3.) I expect to see morale rise as we will feel appreciated more for what we do. Gone will be the expensive toilets, sparkless hammers, etc. Milspec standards may get relaxed a little. Cost of procurement is going to come down. We&#39;ve already seen evidence of this with Trump&#39;s comments about Air Force One and the F-35...<br /><br />And now the bad news. I don&#39;t think you will see big pay raises like we saw with Reagan and GW Bush. The military will likely see benefits erode as Trump slashes to balance the budget. <br /><br />On the bright side, there will be an increase in personnel and possibly a flattening of the pyramid so that we have fewer officers and more enlisted. And that actually is needed because the military is too top heavy...
