In your opinion, which actor portrayed the best version of a diabolical Joker, Joaquin Phoenix or the late Heath Ledger and why?

Joaquin Phoenix played the title role in the 2019 Joker. The late Heath Ledger starred as Joker in the 2008 The Dark Knight. Both versions dealt with his psychopathic rage. I think the 2019 Joker brought his back story clearly to the forefront, his rage and hatred for Gotham City and Bruce Wayne.

Mark Hamill with animated version of Joker. Although 2019 version with Joaquin Phoenix was good with portrayal of psychological instability and heinous personality, his Joker was a dumb and poor bumbler. Other versions have shown Joker to be a formidable villain with charisma and cunning

The Best Joker Origin Movie? Mask Of The Phantasm, Of Course.
Joker is out in theaters, but a perfect origin for the character already exists in Batman: Mask of the Phantasm and it's much more frightening.
