Is there a German unit in Fort Hood? Interested in doing the German Proficiency Badge, anyone know if it's possible in Fort Hood? 2016-03-09T21:55:04-05:00 CPT Private RallyPoint Member 1368346 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I understand that you have to have a German unit to run/validate the event, and I know that Fort Bliss has done some in the past. I don't think we do have one at Hood. The last time I did it was in Leonardwood. Their proficiency badge is more impressive than the german weapons badge. I do know Bliss has one and could possibly be coordinated to travel TDY if funds were available and supported by Brigade. Down fall everyone and their brother will eat up your slots!
