Iran is positioning itself for much more influence - this could be an opening they do not want, we could see the ISIS fight head their way. Interesting (recent) new clip:

Iran was at war with Iraq before we came along. They want Iraq and if they succeed in this so called assisting against ISIS then they are primed to expand their influence. The only people negotiating with Iran is the US and only POTUS and Kerry know what's in the Treaty. Kinda makes you wonder doesn't it? I mean we are trying to negotiate a treaty with Iran and we act like its good thing they are helping with ISIS and at the same time they are showing the world "look we built the mock up of an American Aircraft Carreier so we can practice blowing it up? WTF how low must we go?

No one, not even I can prepare you for the decisions you'll have to make in the coming elections based on the knowledge exhibited by candidates as to this important and complex subject. I tend to not trust Iran in any way.

My personal feeling for Iran aside, I think it is a good thing that they join the fight against ISIS. The more Muslim people that stand against the Caliphate the less likely it is to succeed or become more popular. It will take some sort of unification of Muslims to completely stamp out ISIS, we do not have the testicles to do it ourselves.

Now, will that mean more influence for Iran in Iraq and the surrounding area, probably but, they have always supported the Iraqi Shia population.

Nothing new here. Shia Iraqis have been looking to Iran for support for a long time.
