It has decent promotions, and you can be stationed with literally every single unit in the Army anywhere in the world. Logistics is every single where you go. The knowledge you gain from the job as well as the connections will set you up for the civilian world. As to 92Y, you may have to go to field a lot depending on your unit. If you are a supporting MOS in a BCT unit, it’s hard to get recognized since you are not the main role. Not much space to grow after you hit E6. E5 serves supply sergeant position and E6 and may be S4 or PBO. Pros are: promotion points for E5 is low now. You can go any duty station and it’s quite flexible. You can learn a lot about logistics and dealing with people. Remember you may have more than one boss to answer. It’s a rewarding learning experience, can be painful at times.
