Negative as long as you take good notes, do your Practical exercises and don’t be afraid to ask a million questions you’ll do fine. I made it difficult on myself so that was my issue. Your instructors have been where you are so they will understand if you are confused or just don’t understand.

My wife is a Current 35G in the Civilian Side and I have a bunch of 35G friends . From what they all tell me the course is easy as long as you pay attention to DETAIL!! Good luck I’m also planning to switch to MI my self !

Currently nearing the end of the AIT course right now. Personally, it hasn’t been difficult. The only people who have had problems are those who don’t pay attention and who don’t ask questions. Do your practical exercises, ask questions, and actually try and you’ll do fine.

If you have the ability to learn and are fairly smart, it's not a difficult course. I used to teach it, and as long as you pay attention and aren't afraid to ask questions when you don't understand something, you will pass it.
The civilian opportunities are exceptional.

Update: I have finished the 35g course at Fort Huachuca and can confidently say that it was not very difficult. Stressful, yes. Difficult, no. Paying attention and asking lots of questions when you’re confused goes a long way.
