Some claimed you had to be E5, while others claimed you could apply at E4 but once you graduate 35L AIT you are promoted to E5.<br /><br />The later, if there is any truth to it, is somewhat appealing as I will be enlisting with a college degree and will enter at E4. Would that mean that straight out of another MOS AIT I could begin reclassing? At least in my state. So we do not get CI straight out of basic/AIT. Yes you can apply as an E4 but must be “eligible” for promotion to E5. Also you cannot be a full fledged Agent till your 21 as you can’t be issued creds till you are.
