If soldiers stationed in Kuwait providing support to OIF were authorized combat patches or immanent danger pay that I believe it should be played forward. LTC Stephen F. We were the last cycle to receive "combat pay" for the region. There was an ALARACT message about it just prior to the stop of the pay. If Soldiers are on TCS orders and it is labeled as In support of OEF, they are still entitled to the "Combat Patch" after 30-days in country. Unless that too has changed, but we did conduct a patching ceremony for those that were here with us. PCS Soldiers to Kuwait are not entitled to the patch. Just hardship duty pay. You have to have 30 consecutive days or 60 non-consecutive days in Iraq or Syria to qualify for a patch.
