Due to COVID at the moment the only PT test conducted now is the pull ups - Flex arm hang and you still run everywhere and social distancing is a must, students are restricted to the battalion area only and due to covid no off post travel is allowed or will be approved and no POVs.
You get your food from the dfac but it must be a take out, nobody eats in the dfac at the moment. After being released for the day you go to the barracks and do your own stuff or go to the tracks to run or do some PT on your own, Saturdays and Sundays are off but you will not be going anywhere too.

Source: Just graduated 3weeks ago SGT Private RallyPoint Member Wed, 15 Jul 2020 06:32:32 -0400 2020-07-15T06:32:32-04:00 Response by SFC Michael Hasbun made Jul 15 at 2020 11:08 AM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/is-airborne-school-being-ran-different-due-to-covid-19?n=6103889&urlhash=6103889

It's really awkward because in freefall that damn mask keeps blowing into your eyes... With the T 10 you kinda went where the wind blew your ass, the Dash 1 was a bit better, but not by much. Yet no running in formation, social distancing to the best of the ability of the cadre, defac was take out only, and expect to clean the airborne barracks often. That's a pretty good description. I also went and finished with class 24-20. They are very strict with rules, and with a bump in COVID cases down at Benning (like everywhere else), it's likely to only get more strict.

You will not do the PT test at the moment other than the pull-ups/flex arm hang, and that's because that is a risk mitigation measure to ensure you are able to safely and easily pull a slip when jumping. As stated previously, you only have three places you can be when you are not training: barracks, DFAC to pick-up food, or the track (they will let you run the track if you want). You also have curfew times, and MUST be in the barracks from 2000-0600 every day. I was out on the steps of the barracks one night after 2000 with one of the Marines and we we're talking to family and had cadre find us and redirect us back into the barracks. You'll also have regular accountability formations, even on your off time. We had one every night at 2000 daily. On weekends, we also had one at 1000. Bear in mind, I'm an O-4, and we're (meaning officers and senior NCOs) usually allowed to reside in a hotel when attending, but even I had to stay in the barracks. Again, pretty strict and serious about their transmission mitigation measures.

Your weekends and evenings are free, but you can't go anywhere. If you ever wanted to know what living like a cat is like, weekends at Airborne School under COVID is your chance. Sleep, eat, take nap, eat, watch something on Netflix, nap, eat....with a workout thrown in somewhere.

They're not doing organized PT, but don't slack off too much. You have to run while training, to the harness shed, to and from chute draw, and off the drop zone. I was always about .75 miles away from the harness shed, and running in that heat, with that weight, and especially when do combat equipment jumps will tire you out if you're not ready for some cardio. You don't want to be the soldier who falls out of the 1 mile downhill run to the harness shed. And stay hydrated! Georgia in July and August can be brutal. You don't wanna be a heat cat-they'll drop you.

And yes, you'll wear a mask just about everywhere...except your jumps.

It sucks, but it's doable. Jumping was a lot of fun and you'll meet some great people. Best of luck.
