America is ready for a honest, intelligent, reliable person running for office, be it men or women. To vote for a a woman just because it's a she is no excuse.

Seems to be the Year of the Woman. Recognition by expansion of their potential roles in the Military and now very likely an all female ticket in Washington.

Clinton has a very serious problem with Liberals, not your typical Democrat run of the mill corporatism with some concession to women's and LGBT rights, but real liberalism which demands that the banks are regulated in such a way as to reduce risk for Americans consumers, that trade agreements benefit American workers and not just American capital, and that we preserve and defend Nature as this is the only planet available to us for the time being.

Warren has some credibility with liberals when it comes to regulating the banks, on fighting bad trade deals for American workers and on climate change. I'm not sure it will be enough, however it was a smart move on Clinton part to bring her on board. With a real liberal like Warren as her VP, Clinton will now likely focus on appearing moderate by reversing course again on the TPP and Bank deregulation. I believe that will be a mistake as she is placing far more stock in Warrens liberal credentials, than they are worth. From a liberal perspective at least, Clinton is a neo-conservative who belongs in the Republican party.

Now she only needs to convince Wall Street that she is their best option, money will flow like rivers and the contest will be over.

The real question is America ready for these two women: Hillary and Elizabeth. Just asking the question infers that America is the land of rubes who can't accept a woman in positions of authority. Why are we still having this discussion in a land where women are freer, more liberated, better able to pursue their dreams and seek the limits of their gifts, than America? Sadly, we have chosen the worst black American to be the first black American President. Now we have the prospect of electing the worst woman in America to be the first female American President. There is something seriously wrong with our judgement, don't you think?

And who might those women be.... I'm sorry, but someone's genitals shouldn't determine their competency for the Presidency. I have zero issue with 1 woman being in the White House or 2. What I do have an issue with is the asinine belief that "it's about time we had a female in the White House". That literally has zero bearing on whether or not you are qualified for the position. We could have an election where every single candidate is a woman. I'm not voting for someone because they are a woman, I'm voting for them because I think they'd be suitable in Office.

SSgt M. Har Does it matter anymore? I thought our increasingly liberal/progressive country did not recognize the differences in the sexes anymore. What's to say that Hillary or Elizabeth won't wake up tomorrow and declare that she is a man. Regardless who Trump picks as his running mate, that person should declare that "she" is female (if she is not) and watch the liberal press go crazy.

One thing for sure... America is not ready for Hillary or Elizabeth, separately or together.
