I think it's a little unfair to include the Pentagon in the mix ("the Pentagon is not leaving enough troops to protect Afghanistan"), because the Pentagon is following orders, but I do believe the overall argument is valid.<br /><br />If the Congress and the President can't get along or compromise, that can easily become a national security concern.
