Why is there such a long wait for reserve component officer and warrant federal...

Can anyone tell me why the process takes so long for RC officer/warrant promotions to run through the FedRec cycle? I'm an ARNG officer and I've had my state promotion orders for CPT since the middle of April. I've been tracking my packet on the ARNG-G1 website and it was awaiting addition to a scroll until a month ago and last week the scroll was ready to start the approval DoD cycle. Thoughts?

Nope, but I'm on 02-17, at day 161 in the FED REC tracker, and it's red, and there's still basically no hope that it's getting published anytime soon. I got my state orders in November, if that helps give you perspective about scroll 04. Hope you guys don't have to wait as long, but it might be a while.

I recently started the FedRec process and I'm curious how to access the tracker information. I've been reading and everyone keeps referring to the G1 website but would I have the credentials to access the portal in order to acquire information on my progress in the system from 2LT to 1LT?

Yes, we are at 150+ days. A friend of mine, who commissioned months after me, and was on a later scroll, got his orders on iperms today.

There is no excuse.

Tried contacting the POC listed for FEDREC packets but I've never gotten a response.

180 Days, still at JAG. Has anyone on this scroll made contact with anyone at HRC? Im not so worried about total time, just wondering why it has been at JAG for 100 days.

Well, 202 days on L04-17 scroll, really 244 since July 12th when it started ticking (I have a T-0 counter since then to keep up with actual days when it lags and skips) and 132 of those days are at JAG. There is so much wrong with this system. Has anyone reached out and talked to a human on the phone?

Well we're getting close but a little ways to go. 24 real "business" days at ASA&MRA. Should update to DAS or hopefully straight to SECDEF soon since sometimes the tracker isnt updated properly. Still, we're in the downhill stretch. I think at the 300 day mark they send scrolls down the slide to go ahead and finish up. That's my theory at least. Either your scroll is fast and finishes at /around 180 days or it goes to 300 and they go, ok get this thing done.

We are at day 299 on scroll L04-17. The average length of human gestation is 280 days. It takes less time to make a human being than it does to make 1LT in the guard. And making a baby is a lot more fun.
