What is your AFSC and unit? Also your civilian job can you relocate they expect you to be employed. They willl expect a flight a week minimum and a trip a month along with alert support for current operational taskings.

i was a crewchief on f-15 and C-5 on the civilian side I work with an airline and also for Boeing plus I have a A&P. So I pretty much have the experience to be on a A/C cause I have work on it around it and in it. But sometimes that is not enough cause you always need to know someone since I know they have taking people off the street over me cause they knew someone but they never tell you that as you know they will not.

During my tenure at the 157th the only person they had hired off the street was a commercial airline pilot (A/A), too old to attend USAF pilot training so was going enlisted. Since then I can not speak to who they have or haven't hired off the street. As with life who you know goes a long way. All I can say is get into a unit that has enlisted flying billets and market yourself, that's how I ended up an enlisted flyer. Good luck and hope things work out for you.

No, but I work in a Reserve KC-135 Wing. Do you have certain questions I can help in answering?

been waiting on a class 3 physical to get approved that's a whole different
task it self
