Is anyone willing to help out with an academic research project looking at role transitions?

My research team at University of Cincinnati is doing research on role transitions and looking for anyone willing to participate. Right now, we are looking for ROTC cadets in their MS IV year, OCS candidates about to commission, and new platoon leaders (within their 1st 2 years). That is quite interesting...I'd be most eager to hear more...I gather you're either doing your PhD yourself, or are.ROTC faculty, possibly? Could you possibly elaborate on the group, the department(s) involved, I also know of various specific software packages for.data analysis and/or time series/signal processing you might find useful...I've been trying to volunteer despite total perm.disability for me, with a clinical group doing unrelated.research to yours at a major local.school by us...is it possibly some.aspect.of psychology? Also, there's a USAR unit I've seen listing stuff on here, that might possibly be interested, part of that whole futures initiative, I didn't know if you'd ever seen it at all, I don't know if they'd be interested in the type of effort you describe, I merely thought your find their matl of interest...also, have you tried at all to involve the psychology faculty at USUHS, or possibly faculty at AFIT and/or Naval Postgrad School (NPS) at all? I'd expect you'd likely considered AMEDD, of course, I just figured I'd mention a few errant thoughts that occurred to me in reading what you'd sent...there's a long-term Army ROTC detachment I know of near us, as well as a relatively new AFROTC detachment that just started, as well as NROTC things near us as well, I obv don't have anything to do with them, I merely know of them, I'm also trying to be allowed to.volunteer to help tutor STEM for various groups, as well, just for something to do...what you described interests me considerably, honest, I'd be most eager to know more whenever convenient, I was trained as doctoral allied health, though we shut my license sevl yrs ago due to my whole disability thing, no rush, whenever convenient, many thanks....

And I'd seen you're engrg...can you say which at all?.Elec? Mech? Civil?.Chem? I was trained as Alex engrg (EE), with physics and math, before I'd gone clinical, I never got to publish, I'd wanted to go back on active in the USPHS, as I'd trained in an externship under an O-6 with them, it never happened nowever, I'm afraid....

Also, if you've never seen their canned software packages, they're actually pretty good, I mean, they obviously cost, however, they're not totally outrageously expensive...pricey, though not completely out of bounds, it'd obviously depend on trying them out on their trial periods, of course....

This was actually surprisingly cheap, and had some really nifty features for 3D graphics, it also can handle about a million data points or so, I'd found, the others I'd already sent from SYSTAT, while good, and having their own unique features this doesn't, though this is also good as far as it goes, are apparently limited to about 64K points, the array sizes on Sigview are far higher, I'd found, plus, the cost of this one really was a bargain when I'd gotten it some time back....

This is commercial...the home license is fairly cheap, a couple of hundred bucks, with both MATLAB and SIMULINK, the only thing is, while there's a good deal of video stuff from them on how to use it, as well as on YouTube, the videos tend to go at a snail's pace, I'd found, plus, anytime you want to add features, it costs, not outrageously so, however, it's not a freebie, the thing is, virtually EVERYBODY in serious science uses it, I'd found, honest....
