Is Army PSBCT coming back? Any new news from any current recruiters? Rejoining from Navy to Army. Will go to BCT if I have to, dont mind it. However, if PSBCT will be around id do 6 weeks over 10 any day.

I’m currently going through the process right now as army going back Army with a 3 year gap. My recruiter I’m currently with said PSBCT is still going on in Missouri right now. The start of the new fiscal year might end PSBCT. So I’m hearing mixed stories as well. Guess we’ll find out when we hit MEPS for the contract.

I went back in 2 months ago after a break much longer than 3 years. Per regs no BCT is required for those who previously completed Army BCT or OSUT for joining the RC. Reg for AD component states after more than 3 year break basic is required. However I believe that is a break following end of MSO not ETS. The PSBCT was an exception to policy that was rescinded after one year. I spent months getting in shape thinking I would have to do PSBCT. So now i'm in super good shape joining my unit. Not a bad thing I guess.

I’m kind of hoping that’s what happens with me. I’m hoping that I’ll just have to go through AIT Again and then go to my unit. But again, we’ll see when I get to meps and actually enlist. Let me get though the physical first
